Job DescriptionSupport requirements definition, architecture development, and specifications definition for assigned vehicle system structures.Perform layouts and detailed designs for vehicle wings, fuselage, and empennage.Integration of primary and secondary structures of the vehicle.Participate in the "Concurrent Engineering" process to support the development of the operations, maintenance, and logistics philosophies for the system.Participate as a member of the technical team in the establishment of development processes for the vehicle: the creation of design & analysis standards, load allowable, technical review requirements, etc.Ensure development adheres to applicable standards.Structural Design using Catia 5 to create parametric solid models & assemblies for advanced conceptual layouts, assembly layouts, and detailed design work where necessary.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Field.3 years experience with structural composite design of aircraft.Demonstrated experience and understanding of composite structure design and analysis.Proficiency with Catia v5.History of performing aircraft modifications approved by airworthiness authorities.Knowledge of GD&T methodologies as well as experience in the development of product structures and drawing trees.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Engineering or Related Field.Familiarity with Part 23 certification requirements.Knowledge and ability to execute stress analysis tasks.Knowledge of major industry and regulatory standards and design criteria associated with aircraft design.Knowledge and experience in structural analysis methods, including:Modeling of metallic and composite structures and familiarity with detailed analysis procedures.FEM analysis.NASTRAN.PATRAN.Layout sizing.Structural integrity evaluations.Engineering materials.Hardware and manufacturing.Affordability and survivability.Preferred Tools / Process ExperienceJira.Confluence.Polarion.Catia v5.Dassault 3DX or similar PDM system.Company BenefitsHealth insurance: We offer health insurance to all FTEs, which can include medical, dental, and vision coverage.Paid time off: This includes vacation time, sick leave, and personal days.Flexible schedules: We offer flexible schedules; we help employees achieve a better work-life balance.Professional development opportunities: We may offer training, educational opportunities, or tuition reimbursement programs to help employees develop their skills and advance their careers.Wellness programs: We offer wellness programs that promote healthy living and can include things like gym memberships, nutrition counseling, or stress-management classes.Flex Remuneration.Meal Vouchers.Stock options: All FTEs after one year of seniority may have the opportunity to receive options as part of their compensation package.Bonuses: We offer bonuses or other forms of performance-based compensation to reward employees for their hard work and achievements.Fruits and soft drinks in the office.
