Operating across our footprint of over 30+ Automotive accounts, the Industry practice combines GTM, Product and Engineering into a cohesive ambition and strategy to help our clients achieve unparalleled value.The Automotive SWAT Team is a newly formed, elite team responsible for owning our most strategic Automotive investments. Tasked with scaling outcomes from the account level to the industry level, the team is defining, building and scaling products that are transforming how the most influential Automotive companies operate.The Role:As an Applied Automotive Engineer, you will be part of the SWAT Team working directly with customers to understand their problems and design products and outcomes that can scale to multiple accounts.You will own the outcome of a strategic investment from conception to build to sale - working with GTM, product, AI and engineering teams to build and scale products that are at the heart of the Automotive Industry's processes.The work you'll do:An extremely high level of autonomous ownership is required to succeed in this role. You must thrive within a nebulous problem space, moving seamlessly between sales, scoping, product and customer interactions. A bias towards action and build-first approach will be needed in this fast-paced environment.You will be expected to:Pitch the Celonis proposition and vision to customers to align our solutions against their business strategyPrototype and develop solutions tailored to customer needs, including process intelligence and LLM-based solutions.Identify and package scalable use cases across the Celonis platform, driving innovation and expanding our offeringsClosely collaborate with Product, Engineering & GTM teams to inform future product development based on customer feedback.Train internal teams and help them position and deploy solutions builtThe qualifications you need:7+ years working experience in IT-Consulting, Solution/Data Consulting or Process Improvement Consulting, ideally within the automotive sectorProven experience developing solutions for enterprises, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful use cases solving real-world problems.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
