.Job Title: Automotive Service Advisor (Internal) Department: Motorpool Department Location: San Fernando, La Union Position Type: Full-Time Reports To: Motorpool Manager Job Summary: As an Automotive Service Advisor within the Motorpool Department, you will serve as the primary point of contact for coordinating vehicle maintenance and repair activities within the company. This internal role focuses on ensuring that all company-owned vehicles, including construction equipment and fleet vehicles, are properly maintained and serviced in a timely manner. The Automotive Service Advisor will work closely with drivers, equipment operators, and the Motorpool team to schedule and oversee routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all vehicles are safe and operational. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and prioritize routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all company vehicles and equipment. Communicate effectively with drivers and equipment operators to understand vehicle issues and service needs. Coordinate with internal mechanics and technicians to ensure timely and quality service. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and service history. Update and manage the vehicle maintenance database, ensuring all data is current and easily accessible. Parts and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of parts and supplies required for vehicle maintenance and repairs. Place orders for parts and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines. Conduct regular inspections to verify that all vehicles are safe, operational, and meet legal requirements. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance actions. Provide technical support and guidance to the Motorpool team as needed. Communication and Reporting: Regularly communicate with the Motorpool Manager regarding vehicle status, upcoming maintenance needs, and any issues that arise. Prepare and submit reports on vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and repair costs. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification in automotive services or related field is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service, maintenance coordination, or a related role. Experience in a construction or industrial setting is preferred. Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
