This role involves initiating and managing the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) for new projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Managers and Project Buyers, coordinating with various departments to ensure the successful validation and approval of automotive parts. This position requires proficiency in English (German is an advantage), and the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges.Key Responsibilities:Initiate and manage the PPAP process for new automotive parts.Open and maintain PPAP records in the supplier portal.Ensure all required documentation is requested, received, reviewed, and validated.Coordinate with Project Managers and Project Buyers to define requirements and obtain purchase orders.Review and validate documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards (PPAP / VDA2).Coordinate with other departments for additional documentation (e.G., packaging sheets, production tests).Perform Run at Rate (R@R) and proof of capability at supplier locations when required.Ensure supplier readiness and capability to meet production requirements.Sign and approve Part Submission Warrant (PSW) documents.Collaborate with various departments such as production, packaging, and quality assurance to ensure all project requirements are met.Required Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on quality engineering and PPAP processes.In-depth knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and VDA2 standards.Familiarity with supplier portals and documentation management systems.Proficiency in English.
