The Automation Technician will be part of the Customer Service Operations team at E80 Group, responsible for all after-sales activities. This role primarily involves maintaining, repairing, modifying, upgrading, and performing preventive checks on various machines installed at our clients' sites.
In particular, this role will primarily involve service activities in Barcelona and Murcia , with additional trips across Spain and Europe.
Responsibilities
Keep all E80 system components running smoothly through regular inspections and maintenance, whether scheduled or due to breakdowns.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
Perform corrective maintenance or troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on machines.
Calibrate or configure individual machines or devices.
Handle partial or complete upgrades or modifications on outdated systems.
Prepare reports and spare parts lists after completing work.
Monitor the E80 system's performance, reporting any problems or issues to the appropriate managers.
Requirements
Technical qualification in the electromechanical field or industrial automation.
Proven experience as an electrical, electromechanical, or service technician in automation or manufacturing environments.
Strong skills in reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic schematics, as well as mechanical drawings.
Experience, even if limited, with Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff, and/or FANUC control systems would be a bonus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and independently.
Flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Other Requirements
Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written); intermediate level in English or Italian (spoken and written).
Ability to perform electromechanical work, including at heights and in confined spaces (after completing specific training).
Permanent rights to work in Spain, with no restrictions.
Valid driver's license (B).
