Automation General Support

"1.6 Sestao Program" Team works in the upgrade of Sestao plant automation, moving the organization to performance improvement through technological impulse.
Automation of operations is a key element in site transformation, including production line automation, and transversal processes such as H&S, logistics, water, energy management and environmental control.Working with us will combine teamwork with high skilled teams at international level, analyzing business needs and improvement opportunities in operational automation, implementing software solutions for shopfloor challenges, and using data analytics for the improvement of the processes.

We are looking or self motivated, innovative and proactive people able to work independently as well as a part of a teamJoin us in the journey to a carbon free steel leadership.Main Responsibilities: Understand automation needs of the "1.6 Program" and ArcelorMittal standards Interact with production, maintenance and technical teams to write and assess specifications for the electrical and automation revamp and new installations in Sestao.
Assess and discuss suppliers' bids.
Follow up erection tasks from quality and timing point of view.
Prepare and Follow up of integration test, cold commissioning and hot commissioning.
Be able to face Low Voltage technical offers, including instrumentation & sensors, and follow up erection and commissioning, according with the instructions of Project Manager.Requirements: Technical oriented Master's Degree in Industrial, Computer Science, Automation, Telecom, Maths, Physics or a related field or showing high experience on technical orientation.
Real job experience within that field is a plus.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
