Urgently Required Automation Engineer with Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Automation Engineering or equivalent Qualification and Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial automation, with atleast 2 years in a supervisory role.
Job Purpose Overview: To lead and supervise the software division responsible for SCADA and PLC programming in batching plant automation.
Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions, efficient project execution, and effective collaboration between team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities 1.
Team Supervision and Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of SCADA and PLC programmers.
Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions.
Provide training and technical guidance to team members as needed.

Automation System Development: Design, develop, and program SCADA and PLC systems for batching plants.
Customize automation software to meet specific operational requirements.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams for system integration.

Project Management: Plan and manage automation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, maintenance) and external vendors.
Develop project documentation, including functional descriptions and user manuals.

System Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in SCADA and PLC systems.
Implement preventive maintenance strategies for automation systems.
Provide remote or onsite technical support to service teams as required.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize existing software processes and improve system performance.
Stay updated on the latest SCADA/PLC technologies and propose upgrades.
Certifications/Licenses: Certifications in SCADA/PLC programming are highly desirable .NET platform for SCADA SQL Dbase Experience with HMI design and troubleshooting.
Special Skills: Basic understanding of industrial software systems.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols - Modbus protocol Familiarity with batching plant processes and equipment IoT exposure Programming of panel mounted small controllers, VFD 5.
Working Conditions Work Environment: HO based with some travel for on-site service activities.
