As an Automation Engineer, you will support all production activities regarding automated processes, systems, and computerized equipment on-site to ensure work is performed in compliance with corporate requirements and site policies.
These activities are summarized into:
Production Support for automatized systems incidents.Carry out Lifecycle System and associated documentation.Provide technical support to Project Responsible in specification or design phases.Technical Project Management associated with control systems and automation.Organizational chart: Reports to Engineering Automation Manager
Fields of responsibility: Management and support of Production Application Systems and Computerized equipment on site.Investigate issues and report conclusions.System Manager for minor changes to a system (such as recipes, user accounts, some screens, etc.).Be involved in different parts of a project involving automation systems.Develop, implement, and update technical documentation regarding system qualification, according to corporate requirements and site policies.Management of contracts and suppliers:ALK's interlocutor with the supplier and other External Support Technical Service (ENG): coordinate activities to resolve issues, monitor activities, and documentation issued.Participate in regular meetings with Technical Team Groups, suppliers, and Global Teams.Minimum Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (Automation/Electronics).Experience of at least 3 years in a similar position in the Pharmaceutical Industry or similar (GMP Knowledge).English is mandatory for communicating with suppliers and global teams, and for generating documentation.Experience and Technical Knowledge in these areas: System Manager, deployments, and support.Knowledge of configuring Automation, Control, and Instrumentation project:- PLC programming and associated SCADA (Siemens Tia Portal).
Programming Data Acquisition Systems (SCADA) project.Configuring Vision Systems (OCR and SeaVision MES).Validation and qualification systems knowledge.Skills Overview: Proactive and results-oriented behavior.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.A positive attitude to adapt to rapid changes in the event of incidents, problems, or replanning.Able to plan activities by prioritizing based on criticality and impact.Have the capacity to facilitate activities to third parties.Understand other points of view.Good communicative skills and able to adapt in diverse work teams, locally or globally.The Company: By collecting information and the latest and most trusted solutions together in one place, we want to make allergy surprisingly simple to manage. The position is located at ALK's site in Madrid, which is in the business area of Ciudad Lineal, very close to the center of Madrid. We have quick access to the Hermanos García Noblejas and Ascao metro stations, and we also have a wide bus connection. The manufacturing center is located at Calle Miguel Fleta 19 while the Business Support area is in an annex building located in the Avalon Business Park. Nevertheless, we have a remote working policy that will allow you to work from home part of your time.
