In your role as the Head of Asset Owner, you will serve as the primary representative during the entire lifecycle of Q ENERGY's photovoltaic, wind, and battery energy storage system (BESS) assets in Iberia.
You will oversee the coordination of multidisciplinary teams whose primary goal is to prepare projects for financing or sale, as well as to facilitate the successful financing, sale, or acquisition of solar, wind, and storage initiatives.
The aim is to guarantee that Q ENERGY's renewable energy projects are managed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities: Oversee the transition of projects from development to financing, construction, and operation.
Conduct internal due diligence to optimize project strategies, mitigate risks, and meet deadlines and financial objectives.
Identify and manage project risks proactively, coordinating with Development, EPC, and Investment teams to implement risk mitigation plans.
Support project financing and sale transactions by preparing data rooms, conducting internal due diligence, and liaising with investors, banks, and advisors to ensure projects meet quality and profitability standards at each investment decision point.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures, implement corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement in safety practices.
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including Owner's Representatives and Operations Asset Managers, to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a business or engineering discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in renewable energy, ideally with a proven track record in asset management of PV, wind, or BESS projects.
Experience in a leadership position and the ability to mobilize diverse teams.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to coordinate with internal teams and external service providers.
Strong interest and technical curiosity in the renewable energy sector and the ability to manage a wide variety of subjects.
You are fluent in English and Spanish; any additional language is considered a plus.
