JOB SUMMARY
Plans financial audits by understanding organization objectives, structure, policies, processes, internal controls, and external regulations, identifying risk areas, preparing audit scope and objectives, and preparing audit programs.Assesses compliance with financial regulations and controls by executing audit program steps; testing general ledger, account balances, balance sheets, income statements, and related financial statements; examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.Ensures that no fraud or gross errors are present in the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Checks payroll and petty cash disbursements
Prepares cheque accurately
Checks the authenticity of check voucher's attachments and vouchers entries
Checks monthly inventory of hospital supplies and medicines
Checks the accuracy of entries in the cash receipts books, cash disbursement book, general journal and client ledger
Checks the daily collection report
Checks the computation and schedule required for the preparation of financial statement
Monitors the yearly compliance on government agencies (e.g. SEC requirements, licenses, etc.)
Reports immediately the audit findings and discrepancies to the immediate head
Conducts training when necessary
Proposes/recommends improvements to policies/processes/procedures to minimize risks
QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS
Male or Female at least 21 years and above
Graduate of BS Accountancy or Financial Management
With good communication, interpersonal, and intrapersonal skills
Ability to work with accuracy and efficiency
With good accounting skills and computer literate
