So, what will you do?
As part of our Global Assurance team, the candidate will be responsible for managing and performing both domestic and international assignments on a wide range of areas within the organization. Scope of projects will comprise both operational and financial audits. The projects will be performed as per the Group audit methodology and in conformance with the professional internal audit standards published by the Institute of Internal Auditor.

As part of the Global Assurance Team, you shall be part of a team of experts based in Aviles, Spain. The Audit Supervisor for Spain will report to the Head of Internal Audit for Flat Products Europe.
What you'll do
Areas of operations:
Primarily Spain: Aviles and Gijon and Europe
Responsibilities include: To directly manage multiple multinational audit teams working on various assignments in Spain and for transversal audits across Europe. To lead and participate in operational and financial audits as per the audit plan including the following elements: Planning of the audit. Development of audit programs addressing all areas of concern. Assessing the control environment. Understanding and documenting business processes and internal controls. Testing effectiveness of internal controls. Supporting and supervising junior staff. Ensuring that the specified audit objectives are met. Ensuring that all professional standards are met and that audit files are maintained as per professional standards and ArcelorMittal Global Assurance Methodology requirements. To identify and recommend process improvements in the internal control framework and value addition opportunities. To create assignment reports as per the ArcelorMittal Global Assurance format, summarizing all findings and providing suggestions for remediation in particular areas. To liaise with individuals from a variety of disciplines within the Company and its subsidiaries. Developing relationships and maintaining the internal perception of audit as a strategic partner. To participate in the periodic follow-up of audit recommendations. To apply data-analytical procedures in performed assignments including enhancing the use of digital tools. To contribute to ad-hoc assignments where required. What are we looking for?

Minimum 10 years of extensive experience within one of the following areas: Internal Audit, External Audit, SOx, Internal Controls, Risk Management, etc.
We want someone who's:
University degree in Accountancy / Economics / Business Administration / Engineering / Computer Science / Law. Languages: English (working proficiency) and Spanish (working proficiency); other languages are an advantage. Understanding of ArcelorMittal processes and the concept of controls. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of SAP. Use of big data / data analytics experience; experience in the use of data analytical tools and/or Power BI or other data visualization tools are an advantage. Working knowledge of finance, accounting principles and/or business processes. Excellent communication skills - both written and oral. Ability to work both in teams and individually. Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including the ability to discuss difficult issues with management. Professional qualifications (ACCA/Chartered Accountant, CIA, CISA, CFE) or other professional qualifications are an advantage.
