Audit - Staff/Assistant
The opportunity
The Assurance team provides services related to independent assessment of processes and controls across various industries using a global audit methodology and deploying the latest, high-quality auditing tools and technologies.
In Assurance, you will be a part of the team performing independent validation of companies' accounts, ensuring accuracy. You will identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships in financial statements through detailed analytical trend analysis. Additionally, you will complete planning procedures, test internal controls, verify and test financial statements and supporting documents, and examine financial and accounting records.
As a member of our team in the GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge and experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.
Your key responsibilities
Assist with the administration of audit, reporting, and documentation.
Identify potential audit issues or unusual relationships based on data and analysis of financial statements.
Apply accounting and auditing concepts during audit work and check the accuracy of reports and documentation.
Document the execution of specific audit procedures, controls, and processes.
Assist in creating audit and accounting client deliverables.
Collect financial data from clients and analyze audit documentation for potential audit risks.

To qualify for the role, you must have
A university degree with a basic understanding of accounting and assurance concepts.
0 – 2 years of relevant work experience in basic accounting.
Good English language skills.
Ideally, you'll also have
Very good knowledge of the MS Office Package.
