You are an expert manager in audit able to supervise large scale and cross-functional audits with in-depth knowledge and experience in several business areas. Audit Manager will report to Audit Practice and has people management responsibility with direct reporting line.
Key result areas Audit Plan The Audit Practice Manager is responsible for:
Conducting risk assessments for the Business Units / Processes under responsibility;Supporting the Head of Audit Practice in defining the need of audits for the Business Units / Processes under responsibility and working with his peers to consolidate into the annual internal audit plan;Identifying emerging / developing trends and risk scenarios.The Audit Practice Manager is responsible for:
Supervising the preparation (Scoping, Risk Assessment, Audit Work Program, testing procedures and requested document list) for each assignment under responsibility;Supervising different teams executing audit engagements as per the part of the Annual Audit Plan (both, locally and abroad);Ensuring that all agreed internal audit engagements are executed and completed to standards;For each assignment, reviewing the written closing presentation and report to present audit findings and conclusions. This report will include recommendations to Management and suggestions for improving the overall internal control environment;Challenging and agreeing management action plans before issuing a final report.Follow-up The Audit Practice Manager is responsible for:
Supporting the Follow Up Team with input on remediation of complex implementations to validate risk mitigation.The Audit Practice Manager is responsible for:
Managing relationships with senior management of process owners under responsibility;Supporting Audit Managers in their role relationship management role with local management;Actively contributing to the development of skills and competences of auditors under his/her responsibility by providing regular feedback and managing mid-year / Year–end reviews and targets setting and assessment;Performing the recruitment of new auditors, being involved in the promotion of auditors and compensation assessments along with Head of Audit Practice.What you bring Accomplished audit leader (10 years minimum audit experience) with deep knowledge of business governance, project management, internal controls and risks.Proven record of successfully managing teams for at least 5 years (including conflict management, performance feedback, professional development).For internal applicants: 2 out of 3 status within Allianz.A bachelor's or higher-level degree from an accredited university or Business School.Excellent Command of English and advanced Spanish language skills; French and/or German are a plus.Availability for business travel (for 2 to 3 week intervals at different locations around the world; approximately 17 weeks per year).A consummate professional with high integrity, morale and ethical standards.A high-energy "can do" attitude working in a dynamic business environment.An infectious excitement that will permeate throughout the audit team from your example as the team leader.A disciplined approach and knowledge of methodologies and interviewing techniques from past experiences in auditing, project management and/or risk management.What we offer We appreciate that each of our employees are unique and have unique needs, ambitions and we enjoy being a part of their journey.
