Join our Team About this opportunity! We are looking for a Sourcing Category Manager (Internal title; Category Management Driver) to join our EAS Sourcing team.
The position is based in Rosenheim, Germany with hybrid working. Relocation Support is available.
What you will do: Support strategical evolvement of the sourcing categories following the yearly schedule of the category management work, sharing, and driving implementation of the ways of working, updates, business, and supplier information in the sourcing team.
Work closely with the Head of Category management at HW Sourcing and part of a virtual network of approximately 6 category group leads located in Sweden and China.
Together with the HW Sourcing Head of Category management, challenge, manage and evolve the sourcing categories to meet the future needs of Ericsson Antenna Systems.
Enable collaboration with Product Management, R&D, and Supply to improve the sourcing contribution to the overall business results.
Ensure effective category management by driving aligned subcategory strategies to include commercial conditions and strategies.
Support implementation of category and PSL (preferred suppliers list) strategies and pay attention to the collaboration and interface improvement potentials with R&D and Supply.
Support the Project Sourcing team to understand the category and PSL strategies for efficient implementation in projects.
Chair and participate in steering groups or government forums within sourcing or with external suppliers and/or stakeholders.
The skills you will bring: A Bachelor/Master's degree in industrial engineering, business administration or an equivalent qualification.
You enjoy and are confident in driving business evolvement by working with teams and personal networks across multiple sites and fields.
You are analytical, structural and result oriented.
You find creative solutions when lacking information and act outside your formal area of responsibility when needed.
Business and customer centric with emphasis on seeing the big picture and making decisions.
Demonstrated change management skills.
Analytical and can find solutions or problem statements based upon data and as such, are competent in working with IT and sourcing tools (Sourcing workbench, Strategic Sourcing Suite).
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language.
Experience and knowledge of ways of working in/with R&D and Supply.
Applicants knowing German language would be preferred; however, this is not a prerequisite.
