You'll be working in a dynamic and supportive environment, with some of the brightest and friendliest people in the sector, and you'll be helping shape an industry.We are seeking aDirector, Clinical Supplies Managementto join us and provide strategic direction and operational oversight for Clinical Supplies Management to the global ICON organization.Responsibilities include:Lead a global team to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.Recruit, lead and mentor staff across multiple global locations.Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide governance of such relationships.Develop and sell client-focused solutions related to global clinical supplies.Provide oversight of clinical supply vendors.Role responsibilities:Provide recommendations on the strategic direction and priorities for the Clinical Supplies function; execute on the strategy, and adapt as required, including market and competitor assessments.Ensure that all clinical trial projects are delivered to quality expectations in a timely manner whilst adhering to ICON or Sponsor SOPs, and in compliance with ethical, legal and regulatory standards.Demonstrate oversight through the regular reporting of metrics.Drive functional activities and closely collaborate with Finance to manage departmental budget and achieve targeted revenue and margins.Build customer relationships and interact with customers in a consultative, operational and business development capacity; ensuring close collaboration with the Business Development team to provide regular input to new business proposals and client bid defense meetings.Build and maintain an optimal global organizational structure and allocate resources to projects and initiatives including resource justifications, hiring of staff, manage performance expectations, staff development and succession planning; provide oversight to CSM Managers/Sr Managers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
