Could you be the full-time ATC On Board Design Engineering Leader in Madrid we're looking for?
Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your on-board systems expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll develop a fully functional ATC On-Board System Description & Installation Proposal, noticing the differences with standard solution applying the specific rules and requirements for the project, establishing its hardware/software configuration and application data features. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, project management, rams), develop the interfacing with the rest of systems of the project (TRAIN/TCMS/ /MVB/ATP/ATO/ETH) and with T&C team until the commission of the whole system and much more.
You'll specifically take care of liaising with the RAM, Safety and/or V&V for a correct communication of the design requirements and decisions to be assessed, tested or demonstrated.
We'll look to you for:
Technical management (configuration, change control and requirements). Solve technical issues concerning application project. Take responsibility for the overall performance of the system and the allocation of the project performance requirements and ensure that these requirements are met. Control the collection of technical data (Data Book) and keep it up to date. To participate in the Gate Reviews (give status on system activities). To support application projects in ATC ONB current and future projects. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. That's why we don't expect you to have every single skill. University degree (MEng) preferably) in engineering related to electric, electronic or automation processes. 3 years with internal experience as OnBoard Railways Engineer o similar in other markets. At least 1 year of experience as system engineer. Knowledge on UNISIG Subsets, specially Subset-026, 108, 027 & 076 is an advantage. Command of English: fluent in conversation and mastered in reading and writing. French is desirable.
