Accountable for adhering to all quality and safety guidelines. Safely and efficiently executes daily tasks related to extrusion manufacturing of synthetic absorbable and non-absorbable multifilament products.Duties & ResponsibilitiesUnder limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson procedures and guidelines, this position:Operates production equipment to produce subassemblies or finished products.Interprets instructions and specifications and uses to set up equipment.Checks products on assembly line to confirm that they are properly assembled and removes defective products.Cleans and maintains equipment as needed.Notifies supervisor of maintenance and/or repairs needed on equipment.Prepares accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress.Troubleshoots minor production problems.Participates in cleaning equipment and clean rooms as necessary.Handles chemicals appropriately using required safety equipment.QualificationsHigh school education, G.E.D. or equivalent, experience, or training. Generally, Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience. Computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills. Problem solving.
