As Associate TA Partner you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing and interviewing candidates for American Express in Spain, ensuring superior candidate and Hiring Leader experience.
You will be a talent champion who can actively stay connected to a robust pipeline of candidates, maintain long-term candidate relationships, and energetically sell the role and the AXP brand. You will assist in driving best practice in the initial stages of the candidate recruitment journey working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and Coordinators.
How you will make an impact in this role?
Communicate trends, market intelligence insights and provide proactive sourcing guidance to drive future recruitment activity.
Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers and get hired.
Ask for referrals from current employees and external networks.
Enact broader GTA recruitment strategy to ensure delivery of qualified and diverse talent.
Source and identify talent through traditional and non-traditional sourcing channels, while building and maintaining robust active and passive candidate pipeline.
Use specialist market/industry knowledge to assist with development and ongoing management of pre-qualified candidate talent pools using CRM.
Recommend and drive improvements to the local sourcing strategy and pipeline by actively interfacing with GTA Manager.
Work with Recruiters to manage hiring volumes and headcount goals, gathers key input for candidate slates.
Review applications, conduct first round interview and provide feedback on and to candidates.
Communicate proactively and in a timely manner with candidates, Talent Acquisition Partners, Coordinators, and Recruitment Operations team.
Collaborate with the Recruitment Operations team to ensure process compliance, risk management to deliver a more coordinated and seamless approach to recruitment service delivery
Collaborate with other team members to gain insight into business talent needs and stays current on regional standard methodologies and issues
Provide insights to Hiring Leaders regarding available skills / talent in the market/Competition and salary offers
As directed by Talent acquisition Manager assist with or lead development and delivery of ad-hoc or recruitment projects and initiatives.

Experience:
Experience sourcing talent for high volume, customer support roles or similar either in in-house or agency background
Experience utilizing current TA technologies (CRM and ATS)
Ability to interface with candidates in an engaging and persuasive manner
Ability to collaborate within a team - in this case Recruiters owning the end to end recruitment journey to align on a sourcing strategy
Language Skills – Fluency in English and second European Language is required (Spanish, Italian, French and/or German)
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of the TA landscape in the technology or finance industry
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
