Job title: INTEGRATED VIDEO AND RADAR DETECTION FOR DEVICE-FREE, PRIVACY-ASSURED INDOOR POSITIONING OF PEOPLE INDOORS BASED ON EDGE AI (IVRY)

TASKS TO BE PERFORMED The Electronics and Communications Technology Group (GTEC) is developing the IVRY project funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, the State Research Agency, and by the European Union "NexGenerationEU", in the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (reference TED2021-130240B-I00). The beneficiary of this contract will carry out tasks related to the development of FMCW radar prototypes for the detection and location of persons (Task 3), and to the development of a demonstration pilot of the IVRY project location system (Task 5).
SCHEDULE Monday (from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm / from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm), Wednesday (from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm), Thursday (from 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm), and Friday (from 8:30 am to 11:00 pm)
SELECTION CRITERIA Only merits related to the specified line of research will be evaluated:
Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or equivalent (2 points).
Master's degree (1 point).
Scientific publications (up to 0.50 points per publication and up to a maximum of 1.5 points).
Work experience: previous positions held, participation in R&D projects, technology transfer actions, etc. (up to 0.5 points per year and up to a maximum of 1.5 points).
Personal interview, provided that a minimum of 6 points is reached in the previous sections (maximum 2 points). The call for the interview will be communicated 48 hours in advance.
A waiting list will be created with those candidates who obtain a minimum score of 6 points.
