Title: THE SHIPYARD OF THE FUTURE
Research line / Scientific-technical services: TRACEABILITY
This contract is convened under the project Centro Mixto de Investigación "The shipyard of the future" (CEMI) in which the University of A Coruña and the company Navantia participate.
The purpose of this contract is the collaboration in the research activities carried out within CEMI.
TASKS TO BE PERFORMED AND THE SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT The main tasks of the hired person will be related to the area of ICT technologies in the field of identification and traceability in the shipbuilding sector:
Development of an intelligent palletizing system that allows us to offer advanced traceability, monitoring and automation functionality.
Analysis, design and implementation of prototypes with identification technologies and marking techniques/symbols for the General Warehouse and Block Factory.
Integration with pilots developed with Navantia's information systems (e.g., private cloud-connected ecosystem, digital twin).
Field tests at the shipyard, validation tests and system performance.
The contract will be indefinite, in accordance with applicable law. It is cautioned that the context of this call is linked to the CEMI project, the completion of which is scheduled to end in September 2025.
Requirements The requirements to be met by the person to be hired are described below:
All applicants must meet the following requirements by the deadline for the submission of applications and maintain them during the term of the contract:
To have Spanish nationality or any other to which state regulations attribute equal rights for labor purposes in the public administration.
To have the required qualification and meet the rest of the requirements indicated in the call.
To have reached the age of sixteen years and do not exceed, if applicable, the maximum age of forced retirement.
To possess the functional capacity necessary to develop the corresponding functions or tasks described in memory.
Not to have been separated by the applicant by disciplinary record from the service of any public administration or the constitutional or statutory bodies of the autonomous communities, or to be in a position of absolute or special disqualification for employment or public office by judicial resolution.
Additional Information Eligibility criteria
SELECTION CRITERIA It will be valued positively to have completed a professional master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Likewise, previous experience and specific training (courses, seminars, etc.) in the following will be positively valued:
Traceability systems for industrial scenarios.
Traceability systems based on the Internet of Things.
Development of energy harvesting systems for ultra-low consumption devices.
The selection process will involve assessing qualifications, specific training, experience, and publications related to the position.
