The following selection criteria will be used to evaluate the candidates:
Academic record of the Bachelor`s degree in Chemistry or equivalent degree (up to 5 points): grade: 5.0 - 6.0 (1 point), 6.1 -7.9 (3 points), 8.0 - 10 (5 points). Minimum grade required for evaluation is 5.0 points.
Academic record of the Master's degree (Master's degree in Experimental Sciences or equivalent) (up to 5.0 points): grade: 5.0 - 6.4 (1 point), 6.5 -7.9 (3 points), 8.0 - 10 (5 points). Minimum grade required for evaluation is 5.0 points.
PhD Degree in Chemistry (up to 10 points): grade: aprobado (5 points), notable (7 points), sobresaliente (9 points), sobresaliente cum laude (10 points). Minimum grade required for evaluation is 5.0 points;
Extraordinary doctorate award (5 points);
Demonstrated experience in tasks directly related to those required in the contract (up to 30 points): 1 point per worked month;
Scientific publications in the last 5 years: resulting from research activity and related to the tasks to be carried out (up to 20 points): Chemistry JCR Q1 journals (3 points); Q2 (2 points); Q3 (1 point); Q4 (0.5 points); in related areas, each quartile score will count for a half.
Communications in conferences/symposia in the last 5 years (up to 5 points): International (2 points); national (1 point); other (0.5 points); in related areas the score will be computed by half.
Training courses as a researcher in techniques related to the tasks to be carried out (up to 15 points): courses of more than 12h (3 points); courses of less than 12h (1.5 points).
English proficiency level (up to 5 points): maximum score with equivalent or higher levels than First Certificate in English (B2).
Personal interview with the three most valued candidates (up to 25 points).
In order to be admitted to the personal interview it is essential to obtain a minimum of 25 points in the previous curricular evaluation (out of 100 points).
The applicant will be selected who, according to his/her Curriculum Vitae and merits, best fits the profile of the project, meets the requirements of this call and obtains a minimum score of 50 points on the total scale (maximum of 125 points).
Based on the fulfilment of the requirements and the assessment of merits, a prioritised order of candidates will be established.
The candidate with the highest score will be awarded the post. With the rest of the candidates, and respecting this order of priority according to merit, a waiting list will be drawn up exclusively for this contract, which will be used for hiring in the event of resignation, termination or leave due to temporary disability of the person selected.
