PURPOSE
Creating intuitive and engaging user experiences through collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and senior designers. The Associate Product Designer is responsible for translating user insights and requirements into actionable design solutions, contributing to the overall design strategy, and ensuring consistency across the company's product offerings.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to conceptualize and design user-centric products.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using design tools like Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.
Assist in the development of user personas, user journeys, and experience maps.
Maintain design consistency across products by adhering to design guidelines and standards.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a design system.
EXPERIENCE
1+ years of overall experience of working in a Technology organization;
1+ years of Experience working as a designer within software/product development & delivery;
Knowledge of a Design tool and techniques for visualizing and planning and communicating design concepts;
Understanding of Lean UX Methodology in the process of software development & delivery;
Understanding of UX deliverables such as Personas, User journey maps, Site maps, Prototypes, Wireframes, Style guides, Usability Reports and Research Reports as documents videos and presentations.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and prototyping tools.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Ability to create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment.
Strong communication and presentation skills.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Good understanding of human-computer interaction (HCI) element of a design and Human Cognitive behavior.
Relevant certifications in UX/UI design or product design are a plus.
