The Associate Marketing Planning and Performance Manager will drive marketing effectiveness by overseeing local planning processes, managing budgets, and leading the audience insights strategy.
Core ResponsibilitiesOversee France-Iberia marketing planning in collaboration with the Marketing team, managing budgets, addressing discrepancies, ensuring a streamlined planning process, and providing support for relevant tools.Manage the planning system (called MRM), supervise month-end and year-end closing processes, and ensure compliance with Global and Western Europe data requirements.Lead marketing performance management for France-Iberia through After-Action Review coordination.Serve as the Business Unit lead for audience insights and research, monitoring market trends and directing ad-hoc research initiatives.Analyze data, derive actionable insights, and clearly present key findings from internal monitoring tools (ACT, BEAT, MDS, CGT monitoring brand health, Consumer Sales, Active Consumer Base).Coordinate customer preview events.Lead marketing team meetings to foster collaboration among the team.Do you have what it takes?Several years of experience in an FMCG company with demonstrated expertise in marketing planning, budget oversight, and developing insights-driven narratives.Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders without direct authority.Focused and adaptable, capable of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.Identify areas for improvement and proactively propose actions to enhance and strengthen processes.Attention to detail, with excellent analytical and synthesis abilities. Skilled at anticipating needs and setting clear milestones.Proficient in MS Office, including PowerPoint and advanced Excel.Tech-savvy, with experience applying consumer and shopper research, confident using reporting tools, and a dedicated approach to learning.Proficiency in English is essential (minimum C1 level), as well as proficiency in either Spanish (if based in Madrid) or French (if based in Paris).Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
