As an Associate Manager, you will significantly contribute to the success of our sourcing initiatives and strategic partnerships. You will be part of a global, highly efficient, and dynamic team of sourcing professionals valued across the company for their domain expertise, insights, and impact. This role encompasses managing crucial elements of third-party sourcing relationships necessary for new product and feature launches, enhancing existing products, and developing and implementing strategic data partnerships to facilitate business growth and innovation. What you'll do: Lead your data domain and manage the entire sourcing process, from ecosystem insight, supplier identification and qualification, data analysis, commercial negotiations, contract drafting, and long-term relationship management. Support the creation and execution of supplier strategies, considering market developments, competitors, and trends that will directly impact our products. Actively manage existing suppliers by assessing performance, re-evaluating relationships, their impact on product quality, and identifyingadditional business opportunities for TomTom. Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful partnership outcomes. What you'll need:Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Procurement or a related discipline. Demonstrable deep understanding of technologies for next generation map production, including data derived from in-vehicle camera's via computer vision(sensor derived observations or SDO), imagery from satellites, airplanes or dashcams, GPS probe, and more. Ability to clearly communicate complex technology potential and requirements to stakeholders. 4-7 years of experience in procurement/sourcing, sales/business development, and/or project management in a metrics-driven environment. Strong interest in technology, the mobility sector, and data-driven solutions.? Experience in working with and communicating technical requirements and specifications with third parties. Experience in commercial negotiations and developing and managing business relationships, leading to high-impact outcomes. Practical experience in setting up and managing projects with the help of tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, etc.) with strong time management and work prioritization skills. Ability to interact with and influence decision-makers (internally and externally) at every level, including senior executives. Open-minded team player with a dynamic and approachable personality who can work effectively independently, often to tight deadlines. Confidence and fluency in English (both written and verbal) with excellent communication and listening skills.? Ability to successfully adjust and match communications to the audience's level. Excellent organizational and analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to form strategic insights from available data. Strong working knowledge of MS Office is required. Comfort working with ambiguity and changing requirements in a cross-functional, collaborative environment.? Ability to speak another EU- or commonly used business language is an advantage. Prior experience and established connections in mapping, automotive industry, location technology, mobility, or other related industries is an added plus. What we offer
