ResponsibilitiesPart of the close-working International Networks & DTC Legal team in London, Paris and Madrid, this role would suit a newly graduated or junior lawyer, and has the following responsibilities:
Supporting the Senior Legal Counsel, Madrid in staying up to date with, and advising the business on, relevant matters of broadcast regulation (content ratings, protection of minors, European Works quotas, advertising rules etc.) and regulatory policy.Assisting with, and responding to queries from the business on, various contracting matters for Iberia and the wider EMEA business (channel distribution; programme acquisitions; ad sales, sponsorship and client partnerships; marketing services; and technical operations).Supporting the Senior Legal Counsel, Madrid in coordinating, preparing and submitting regulatory filings, such as CNMC information requests, Socrates reports, Broadcasting and Investment Quota declarations, etc.Advising internal stakeholders on programming rights and restrictions, and maintaining the programme rights database.Supporting the wider International Networks & DTC Legal team in EMEA with new vendor onboarding/security reviews, contract reviews and reports, and contract management.QualificationsThe position requires a professional and motivated person with the following attributes:
