TITLE: Associate General Counsel DEPARTMENT: Legal LOCATION: Madrid, Spain REPORTING TO: Chief Legal Officer ROLE TYPE: Hybrid, Full time Role Overview As an Associate General Counsel you will support IPC's EMEA and US business.
You will report directly into the Chief Legal Officer and you will have exposure to various internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
You will undertake a diverse and varied in-house role, working for a market leading financial technology company.
Key Responsibilities: Negotiating, drafting and advising on commercial agreements for a technology company, including customer agreements (SaaS, license, CapEx, maintenance, and managed services agreements) and vendor agreements (in-bound license agreements).
Supporting sales, procurement, product management, operations and finance teams regarding commercial agreements.
Providing guidance on commercial legal issues and risk mitigation in support of the business teams.
Managing a wide range of other in-house responsibilities with support from expert external counsel.
Supporting company secretarial function.
Negotiating, drafting and advising on a wide range of other agreements, including distributor agreements, intercompany agreements and leases.
Essential Skills and Experience: 5+ Years Post Qualified Experience.
European or US Qualified Lawyer.
Fluency in English.
Experience with commercial technology contracts.
Experience with financial technology would be beneficial.
