TITLE: Associate General CounselDEPARTMENT: LegalLOCATION: Madrid, SpainREPORTING TO: Chief Legal OfficerROLE TYPE: Hybrid, Full timeRole OverviewAs an Associate General Counsel, you will support IPC's EMEA and US business. You will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and you will have exposure to various internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will undertake a diverse and varied in-house role, working for a market-leading financial technology company.
Negotiating, drafting, and advising on commercial agreements for a technology company, including customer agreements (including SaaS, license, CapEx, maintenance, and managed services agreements) and vendor agreements (including in-bound license agreements).Supporting sales, procurement, product management, operations, and finance teams regarding commercial agreements.Providing guidance on commercial legal issues and risk mitigation in support of the business teams.Managing a wide range of other in-house responsibilities with support from expert external counsel.Supporting company secretarial function.Negotiating, drafting, and advising on a wide range of other agreements, including distributor agreements, intercompany agreements, and leases.Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in the Role5+ Years Post Qualified Experience.European or US Qualified Lawyer.Fluency in English.Experience with commercial technology contracts.Experience with financial technology would be beneficial.Bright, high-energy, and committed to always acting with the highest ethical standards.Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.Committed to contributing to a culture of high performance.Ability to develop practical solutions to complex problems.What's in It for You?At IPC, your compensation is only part of the package.
