The Finance & Control team is looking for an Associate Manager to join its team!
Under the Senior Manager's direction, implements control procedures, operates control data and prepares all kinds of control statements and reports.
The Associate Manager will be responsible for managing and communicating information within the institution control duties and will play an integral and key role in the production and reporting of information within the Finance & Control department.
ResponsibilitiesYour role as an Associate Manager will involve: Provide analysis, projections and presentations of financial reports.Prepare detailed profitability and KPI's analysis.Contribute to the preparation, analysis, and optimization of the annual budget process.Carry out budgeting control and management control of programs and departments of the company.Operation and improvement of control systems and procedures.Help to create accounting and narrative statements or reports requiring sound interpretation of data.Ensure processes that guarantee quality of information.Communicate all kinds of control information to the organization.Participate and cooperate with control staff and systems analysts to implement and improve automated control systems.QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you should have: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field.Master's degree in Management, Accounting or related field or experience with accounting firms is desired.Fluency and proficiency in professional English and Spanish.Minimum 3-4 years of financial audit experience.Previous Big 4 experience is desired.Knowledge of control/business analysis techniques and generally accepted accounting practices.Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.Experience with ERPs: Microsoft Dynamics or other financial reporting tools is desired.Experience in data management and big data tools, analytics and control will be considered.Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.Organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and successfully meet deadlines.Ability to communicate with internal clients and train staff, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.If you want to be part of this educational revolution, we invite you to apply and be part of our amazing team at IE University.
