JLL Capital Markets is the provider of strategic capital solutions to our clients, accessing a diverse pool of capital that includes Private Equity, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Institutional Capital, etc. Within the International Capital Markets EMEA team, we cover a broad range of sectors, including office, retail, industrial/logistics, multifamily/student housing/healthcare, renewables and energy as well as services, including sales, acquisitions, debt and banking advisory, corporate capital markets, JVs, QRM, and funds advisory.
What can you expect from JLL Capital Markets?Sitting within the wider International Capital Markets team at JLL, the Corporate Finance team focuses on advising clients on: M&A transactions, Recapitalisations, JVs, and Strategic Reviews. A front office role, this is an opportunity to join a team that is heavily transaction focused.
What does the role entail?Key interface to client and JLL contacts, linking our colleagues and leading management of all day-to-day workstreams to provide exceptional service to meet client needs, including:Production of market materials to support sale opportunities including cashflows, IM writing/checking/design.Production of client materials to support buyside opportunities including cashflows, buyside report and other analysis.Tracking of investor/marketing lists and production of client reports.Oversight of dataroom (where applicable).Qualitative and quantitative analysis of real estate and corporate business opportunities for our client base including complex financial modelling, transaction structure analyses and positioning including support of Directors in presenting business ideas to our client.Generation of buy-side idea targets, ultimately growing into a self-generating fee earner.Coaching and mentoring to Analyst teams, upskilling through on-the-job training to grow through our next generation talent.Oversee contributions for all deals to our Client Relationship Management programmes, to include reviewing and creating investor profiles in our CRM (Salesforce), maintaining the team's investor lists (to include meeting notes, press, conferences).Oversee completion of all aspects of JLL's business processes for all deals, including KYC, AML, client contracting, engaging with Finance and Legal & Compliance colleagues on behalf of the deal team.Contribute to thought leadership, EMEA market analysis, JLL performance statistics, underbidder analysis and presentations and oversee maintenance of team capability decks.Responsible for understanding how to work with JLL's proprietary databases and research resources, including Global Capital Flows (GCF) data.Maintain deal case study library with market transactions using press and research outputs; produce globally comparable real estate metrics and sources of data.Assist team with arranging meetings and client market tour itineraries for clients.Travel across Europe to join client and investor meetings, both in relation to business origination and project execution.What are we looking for?Experience in a corporate finance environment with a high level of responsibility in transactions; experience in Real Estate sector highly preferred.
