The Associate Director, International Initiatives will report to the Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center and play a key role in advancing IE's global entrepreneurship agenda. This position will focus on organizing and executing international events, including Venture Days, incubators, accelerators, and other programs designed to foster IE's entrepreneurial ecosystem worldwide.
The Associate Director will manage various initiatives that bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders across regions. Responsibilities will include establishing international partnerships, creating international programs, overseeing logistics, coordinating with global stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of events worldwide.
Through the coordination of these international activities, the Associate Director will contribute to positioning IE as a global leader in entrepreneurship. This role will also support the growth and visibility of IE's entrepreneurship initiatives, ensuring alignment with the university's global strategy and providing opportunities for students and the broader ecosystem to connect, collaborate, and innovate across borders.
ResponsibilitiesYour role as Associate Director (International) will involve: Organize and execute IE's international entrepreneurship events, including Venture Days, incubators, accelerators, and other global programs to advance the university's global entrepreneurship agenda.Build and maintain relationships with international stakeholders such as entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders, and academic partners.Identify and create new international programs and initiatives to expand IE's global entrepreneurial ecosystem.Establish and manage international partnerships to strengthen the Center's global reach and enhance the university's entrepreneurship visibility.Oversee the coordination of global logistics, ensuring smooth execution of events and seamless collaboration among international stakeholders.Contribute to the strategic development of the university's global entrepreneurship agenda, ensuring alignment with IE's broader institutional goals.Lead marketing, communications, and promotion strategies for international events and programs to increase visibility and participation.QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you should have: Bachelor's and Master's degree.Bilingual, or advanced proficiency, in English (written & oral).Proven experience in corporate settings and the ability to lead high-level meetings with investors, entrepreneurs, mentors, and other key stakeholders.Outstanding organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple international events simultaneously.Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse global stakeholders.Experience in international event management, global partnership building, and cross-functional collaboration.Familiarity with marketing, communications, or content creation is a plus.If you want to be part of this educational revolution, we invite you to apply and be part of our amazing team at IE University.
