The Associate Director, HR Project Management is responsible for providing leadership and project management around approved Global HR Projects/Programs. This role oversees the operational aspects of projects and serves as liaison between project management, key stakeholders, and HR functional owners. Directly or through a team of Project Managers, reviews status of projects/programs, manages schedules, and prepares status reports. The Associate Director, HR Project Management assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains all appropriate HR project and program deliverables and may be responsible for a variety of HR programs across HR Shared Services and Global Human Resources.
Works closely with project team members from various HR and segment functional teams to complete project assignments and provide required deliverables.
Requires a strategic and administrative skill set with the ability to pivot between the two as the situation dictates.
Deploy project management tools, templates, processes, and standards as appropriate, and in alignment with those used by other project managers in the HR Operations Excellence organization.
Proactively identify and address all potential project roadblocks. Work closely with key stakeholders to resolve issues.
Provide status updates and input to the Portfolio Manager/Business Case/Value Analyst as required.
Provide meaningful, precise, and actionable status reports to key stakeholders on a frequent basis which highlight critical dependencies, risks, and action plans.
Develop and provide updates on key project performance metrics, including progress against the project timeline, deliverables, and budget. Highlight risks and escalate as appropriate.

Most project work can be performed virtually from a home or other remote location.
When required to report to a Fresenius office for in-person meetings, the closet office location will usually be selected.
Minimal travel is expected for this position and would be project dependent.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree desirable.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:12+ years of Project Management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with Portfolio and Project Management tools and best practices; Smartsheet & JIRA experience a plus.
Strong familiarity with HR practices and/or direct experience working in HR organizations.
Experience with indirect people management and working in highly matrixed organizations desired.
Ability to manage through influencing others.
Demonstrate initiative; results oriented; strong sense of urgency.
Strong analytical, planning, organization and time management skills.
Excellent communication and written skills required.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Experience with Workday a plus.
PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification is desired but is not a requirement.
