Overview: The Associate Directors are responsible for the delivery and day-to-day management of the program.
This comprises coordinating tasks among various team members; overseeing the implementation of guidelines and policies; monitoring logistics and operations; supporting faculty members; and overall responsibility for student services - including the direct services by the Program Management and Program Experience team and coordination with various departments to ensure a world-class experience for students across different programs.
The Associate Director will report to the Executive Director, will manage a team of Program Coordinators and Program Assistants, and will interact with Faculty, Students, different departments of IE and external agencies required for running the program.
Responsibilities: Support current academic directors in strategic and executive tasks to move forward with the launch of incoming intakes in our educational programs dealing with a holistic approach to real estate and the city.Develop and write in a timely and effective way the official ACSUCYL and RICS documents necessary for the accreditation of the programs with upcoming deadlines.Assist with business development strategies for the field of Real Estate.Formulate partnerships and affiliations to ensure the programs' success.Support and carry through the necessary steps to be eligible for international rankings.Undertake ongoing coordination work with the Department of Talent and Careers to improve and track the employability of graduates.Manage the day-to-day operations of the current master's programs and preparatory courses, including liaising with other IE departments (Learning Innovation, Admissions, Marketing, and Deans' office), responding to questions and concerns, assisting in the planning and production of special events, such as master classes, academic trips, etc.Assist in the development of a commercial strategy and be a spokesperson/ambassador for the programs to communicate with potential future students. Qualifications: Master's degree from a top University, preferably in a field that would allow for a holistic understanding of the real estate sector combined with the ability to manage and implement the strategies and policies of the institution.Bachelor's degree preferably in Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Urban Studies, or the Environment.Bilingual in English and Spanish is required; other languages are a plus.3-5 years of management experience (real estate or higher education preferred) along with supervisory experience.Proven experience in building academic programs and improving them with progressive and innovative ideas.Flexibility and ability to work in complex environments dealing with operational tasks whilst maintaining the strategic view.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.Strategic thinker with solid marketing and customer service experience.Analytical skills, ability to pay particular attention to detail and accuracy.Experience in working with data and providing data support and advice.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools or equivalents, including Excel.
