Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Database Administrator to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates who are eager to develop their skills in database management and data infrastructure. As part of the team, you will work with experienced professionals to manage, monitor, and optimize our database systems.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the management, maintenance, and optimization of complex database environments (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MariaDB).Support database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning activities to ensure efficient system operations.Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are followed effectively.Assist in database design, implementation, and updates as required.Perform data migrations, schema changes, and other database-related tasks under supervision.Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to support system performance and data integrity.Prepare and maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and performance metrics.Key Qualifications: A degree in Business IT, Computer Science, or a related field.0–2 years of experience in IT, database management, or related roles.Basic knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MariaDB.Familiarity with database management tasks such as backups, restores, and data integrity checks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork skills.A passion for learning and growing in database administration.If you're looking to start your career in database administration and work with cutting-edge technology in a supportive environment, we would love to meet you!
