About the Role This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to join a global legal team integral to a company engaged in cutting edge technology and focused on solving some of the biggest challenges in the world - including changing the way regulators, courts and legislators think about the future of mobility, delivery and beyond. We are looking for a dynamic lawyer to join our legal team to provide legal advice for our delivery business in Spain and France (with a primary focus on Spain). The position is based in Madrid while working in close collaboration with colleagues from across the globe, and reporting into the lead counsel for Iberia. What You'll DoAdvise on a broad range of commercial and regulatory issues related to delivery in ways that are practical, commercially-focussed and future thinkingDraft and negotiate key strategic contracts with restaurants and delivery partnersLiaise with outside counsel and prepare case strategy with themCounsel Consumer Law-related matters and disputesWork closely with our Employment, Policy, Tax, Communications, Privacy, Safety, Insurance, Antitrust, Corporate and Business teams to support regulatory engagement, strategic projects and to refine and shape business operationsAdvise our Marketing team on award winning campaigns and initiativesThis is a hands-on role and you'll be expected to handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround timesWork hard but have fun doing it!What You'll Need4+ years PQE in a law firm and/or in the legal team of a multinational company, primarily focusing on commercial Law, consumer law, and/or regulation of the delivery, mobility and/or hospitality sectorsSpanish fluency (native speaker)Fluent in English and FrenchActive bar registration in Spain (if additionally in France, also a plus)Solid experience in providing legal advice both on national and international mattersExcellent legal and business judgment, communication, interpersonal skills, and a crisp writing styleProven track record of drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and advising on a range of commercial, regulatory and litigation issuesPreferred QualificationsPassion for technological innovation and the lawExperience working in an industry that is heavily regulatedDemonstrated effectiveness operating in complex organizational environments with strong stakeholder management skills and self-starter qualitiesThis is not your typical in-house role; it is a dynamic, fast-paced environment and needs a candidate who is agile and able to juggle multiple projects, re-prioritize quickly to address shifting business needs and be a pro-active solution-driven lawyer that thrives in high impact/high profile situationsPersonal qualities: fierce, team player, creative and engaged + humble!#J-18808-Ljbffr
