Applications are invited by the University of Alicante President to create a pre-shortlist of candidates in order to cover an open-ended contractual position as an assistant technologist to collaborate with the funded research line "Design of data spaces and open data management". Reference I-PAS-78/24

Pursuant to the provisions of the regulations governing calls for applications of research staff to cover contractual positions assigned to research projects, the University of Alicante calls for applications to create a pre-shortlist of candidates to cover four job positions in accordance with the following terms and conditions:
First. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancyNumber of job vacancies: four.Job position: assistant technologist.Funded line of research: "Design of data spaces and open data management".Work schedule and remuneration for job positions:Two of the job positions are full-time, requiring morning and afternoon shifts. The gross monthly remuneration for these roles is €1,600, with two additional annual payments of the same amount. For contracts lasting less than a year, the remuneration will be prorated accordingly.Two of the positions are part-time, requiring 17.5 hours per week in the mornings. The gross monthly remuneration for these roles is €800, with two additional annual payments of the same amount. For contracts lasting less than a year, the remuneration will be prorated accordingly.In accordance with the provisions of the agreement of the Governing Council of 27 January 2022, the percentage distribution in the contractual job vacancies of assistant technologist for research projects, is 55.00% for women and 45.00% for men.
Second. First project in which the successful applicant will collaborateName of the project: "HELEADE (Wetlands as generators of environmental and economic value through a territorialised data space)".Tasks to be carried out:Development of use cases for environmental data space.Application of multimedia techniques to develop use cases in the environmental data space ecosystem.Development and application of artificial intelligence techniques in the field of environmental data space use cases.Development and application of Web development techniques in the field of environmental data space use cases.Development and application of multimedia engineering techniques in the field of environmental data space use cases.Any other task related to environmental data space design and use case development.Third. Scale to be applied according to the job profileExperience (maximum 3 points): performance of tasks and activities, by means of an employment contract, in any field or administrative relationship, excluding teaching activities, will be assessed at the rate of 1 point per full year, or a proportional part per full month for periods of less than a year, related to the tasks described in the second section of this call for applications.Additional education (maximum 3 points): Qualifications related to the tasks described in section second will be considered.Fourth. Requirements for applicantsHold a technical diploma or equivalent, or have passed university entrance examinations for over-25s.Have Spanish nationality or be in one of the situations listed in article 57 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015.Have a good command of any of the official languages of the Valencia Region.Be at least 16 years of age and not be over the maximum age for compulsory retirement.Possess the physical and mental capacities and aptitudes necessary for the performance of the relevant duties and tasks.Not be disqualified by final judgement or as a result of having been dismissed for disciplinary reasons to perform duties similar to those of the relevant professional category.Full terms and conditions of this call can be found at the following link (IN SPANISH):
