Offer DescriptionApplications are invited by the University of Alicante President for an open-ended contractual position as an assistant technologist to collaborate with the funded research line "Management for sustainable aquaculture". Reference: I-PAS-60/24 The projects are conducted in collaboration with the Biodiversity Foundation of the Spanish Ministry of the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, under the Pleamar Programme, and co-funded by the European Union through the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF). Job Vacancy DetailsFirst. Number of vacancies and features of the job vacancy 1.1. Number of job vacancies: one.
1.2. Job position: assistant technologist
1.3. Funded line of research: "Management for sustainable aquaculture".
1.4. Working hours: part-time position, 15h/week in morning sessions.
1.5. Remuneration: €504.47 gross/monthly plus two extra payments of the same amount.
In accordance with the provisions of the agreement of the Governing Council of 27 January 2022, it is stated that the percentage distribution in the contractual job vacancies of assistant technologist for research projects is 55.00% for women and 45.00% for men.

2.1.1. Name of the project: "Global change Resilience in Aquaculture – Tools for Long-term Sustainability (GLORiA-TOOLS)".

2.2. Details of the second project:
2.2.1. Name of the project: "Cultivation and Use of Marine Invertebrates in Low Environmental Impact Aquaculture Systems (CAMBIA)".
2.2.2. Reference: FbioPleamar23-127.
2.3. Funding agency: Biodiversity Foundation of the Spanish Ministry of the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
2.4. Co-funding agency: European Union through the EMFAF.
2.5. Dept. / Institute: Department of Marine Sciences and Applied Biology.
At the end of the duration of these projects or their budgetary availability, the successful applicant may join other projects within the same line of research.
Tasks to be carried out:Sampling and analysis in wet labs, including work with samples of fish and crustaceans.Economic and administrative management of the project.Drafting of reports.Management of documentation and justification for the project.Drafting of documentation and communication materials for the project (in Catalan).Any other task related to this job position as may arise from the implementation of the project.Application Assessment Criteria3.1. Official academic qualifications (maximum 2 points): Technical degree in Administrative Management or equivalent.
3.2. Experience (maximum 3 points): Performance of tasks and activities related to the job.
3.3. Additional education (maximum 3 points): Qualifications related to the tasks described.
3.4. Knowledge of Catalan (maximum 1 point): Only levels higher than specified will be considered.
Fourth. Requirements for ApplicantsHold a technical diploma or equivalent.Have a C1 level of Catalan.Have Spanish nationality or meet specific legal residence requirements.Good command of any of the official languages of the Valencia Region.Be at least 16 years of age and not over the maximum age for compulsory retirement.Possess the physical and mental capacities necessary for the job.Not be disqualified or dismissed for disciplinary reasons.Not a civil servant.
