About the team you are joining:
You will report to the Senior Manager Performance Operations and will be responsible for providing timely support on operational issues, focused on the long-term resolution, raised by regions, project teams, and any other IATA stakeholders. The business systems are mainly supported by iBSPs, BSPlink, SNAP, CASSlink/CASS2.0.
What your day would be like:
Provide effective and timely 2nd level support for the IATA business systems in accordant with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Manage the regional team requests for incident reports and assess them, understanding the issue root cause and ensuring that corrective actions are proposed and implemented; Act as SNAP Administrators, being responsible for the global stock management activity. Within the scope of this responsibility, conduct form code recycling and re-introduction exercises in coordination with the BSPs, GDSs (Global Distribution System), internal Passenger Interline Standards stakeholders, and Passenger Service Conference stakeholders; Manage the GDSs/TSPs Testing and Certification for participating in BSPs; Facilitate the relationship between the DPCs (Data Process Centers) and IATA DPC software (iBSPs) developers and suppliers; Provide support to Global Data Maintenance activities for supported systems; Manage the global level system configuration for the set-up of new BSPs/CASSs and provide support to regions and other IATA stakeholders; Contribute with improvements to related operations, systems, issues, or processes; Participate in different entity meetings (i.e., with the DPC vendors), understand and evaluate the issues raised and propose solutions; Conduct operation testing activities for systems and support the regional network organization in its related activities; Support the Performance Operations team in handling and closing items for Audits.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
A University degree or equivalent experience (Technical profiles preferred); Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Air Transport Industry, with full understanding of airlines' value chain and IATA FSDS Ops; Knowledge of IATA Business Systems, Dish and process flows and IATA Resolutions will be an advantage; A high level in MS Excel is required; knowledge of PowerBI and PowerQuery, VBA, Access, and DB script are a plus; A strong positive attitude, motivation, and results-oriented; a proven team player whilst having the ability to work autonomously; Experience in managing business process alignment and improvement; Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required; Spanish or Chinese are a plus.
