Empresas: NH Hotel Group Part of MinorFunctions: JOB SUMMARY You will assist the Front Office Manager in managing front office functions and supervising staff daily. Strive to continually improve guest and team member satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES On a daily basis, together with the Front Office Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: • Manage and coordinate the department, implementing the NH service and quality standards. • Identify and analyze FO operational challenges and facilitate the development of solutions to prevent reoccurrence. • Supervise, coordinate and manage incidences related with the hotel, taking the necessary actions and decisions to solve them. • Handle and monitor guest concerns and provide customer satisfaction. • Review and supervise the correct application of upselling and cross selling policies in the reception team. • Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and policies, as well as knowledge of the local areas, and are continuously trained to learn and understand policies and practices. • Communicate and transmit a consistent message regarding FO objectives and expected results, as well as hotel crucial information.• Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities. Duty Manager.• Will report to the Front Office Manager.EXPERIENCE At least 2-3 years of hotel Front Office experience, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity.QUALIFICATIONS • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent. • Fluency in local language is a must and a high level of English is required. • Working knowledge of various computer software programs (Microsoft Office,TMS, etc) and Front Office systems. • Knowledge of the principles of revenue management and commercial policies.
