It involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project cost forecasting, managing budgets, and providing design input. Ensures that construction projects are completed within budget and in alignment with Alfamart's quality standards and specifications.Assists in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.Collaborate with the design team to ensure that project designs are both functional and cost-effective.Review project plans and specifications to ensure they align with Alfamart's requirements and provide input on design improvements.Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefits analyses for proposed projects.Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, for submission to contractors and suppliers.Monitor project expenditures to ensure they remain within the allocated budget and provide regular reports on budget status.Work closely with contractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services.Assist in managing the contract administration process, including reviewing and approving progress claims, variations, and final accounts.Evaluate and report on any changes or deviations in projects scope that may affect the overall budget and timeline.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and Alfamart's internal quality standards during the construction process.What does it take to be part of the team?Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or in a related field.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in design, quantity surveying, or cost management in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction materials, project budgeting, and cost estimation techniques.Familiarity with architectural and engineering design processes and the ability to interpret plans and specifications.Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools (e.G., AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent)
