Assistant Junior Algorithmic Trader (Madrid)
We offer internships leading to a permanent position.
Responsibilities • Work with Senior Algorithmic Trader to assist and learn all aspects of trading and execution.
• Produce solid implementations of cutting edge pricing models and hedging tools.
• Maintain and improve existing report and backtesting procedures within the desk.
• Interact as part of the trading team in analyzing and implementing existing and new strategies.
Qualifications • MS in computer science, engineering, physics, math, statistics or related.
• Knowledge in finance is a plus.
• PhD or similar research experience in quantitative field will be strongly considered.
Key Skills • Sound knowledge of statistics and probability.
• Familiarity with signal processing and machine learning is a plus.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab. C++\C# will be also positively valued.
• Good understanding of algorithms and advanced data structures.
Attributes • Willingness to learn and intellectually curious.
• Capable of developing expertise in areas outside of core comfort zone and learn from experienced members of the team.
