Our 2 ballrooms and 18 meeting rooms can host up to 1,800 delegates for meetings and social events.Novotel Jakarta Mangga Dua Square serves as a convenient base to explore the city, being close to the Business Centre and near the Harbour to explore the tropical atmosphere of the Thousand Islands.The hotel is strategically located close to shopping areas, the remarkable landmark of Jakarta Old City, and the biggest amusement eco-park, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, surrounded by many tourist attractions.Job DescriptionPlan, implement, and measure profit enhancement programs by working with the kitchen & Marketing Department. Prepare & submit post-mortem promotion reports to the F&B Manager upon completion of promotions.Implement and maintain control measures to ensure that food & beverage costs, productivity, labor costs, and operating supply costs for the outlet are in line with the budget.Build good relationships with guests or regular patrons. Remember individual patrons' names and their preferences to extend personalized service.Handle guests' complaints and comments tactfully and efficiently.Handle all administrative work pertaining to cashier/bar operation requirements and company policies.Maintain department communication logbook and updated notice board.Check the supply of equipment/stock levels and ensure that there is no shortage of items that could impact operations and guests.QualificationsStrong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills.Good communication and customer contact skills.Familiarity with F&B promotions and sales strategies.Service-oriented with an eye for detail.Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations.A team player & builder.A motivator & self-starter.Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.Ability to speak other languages and a basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint.High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
