Responsibilities:

End-to-end AP and AR accounting activities ensuring that the transactional journals are being posted accurately and timely onto Xero i.e. prepayments, accruals, inventory, reallocations, etc.
Management of Fixed Assets including monthly depreciation and capitalisation of new assets.
Support with the entire month-end and year-end account close process.
Ensure the month-end process checklist is followed and deadlines respected.
Ensuring Credit Card statements/expenses are reported and reconciled into Xero.
Completion of VAT reconciliations and returns.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Assist with the preparations for audits and provide supporting schedules and documentation as required.
Undertake additional tasks as requested by the Financial Controller.

Skills/Experience required:

Xero experience is advantageous.
Strong multi-tasking ability.
At least 3 years of account experience.
Studying towards Accounting Qualification i.e. AAT, ACCA, CIMA.
Competent user of MS Office.
Experience within retail/hospitality is beneficial.
Work well under pressure with good organisation skills.

Annual salary 28,000-32,000 euros depending on experience.
