Job title: Asset Management LeaderLocation: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain (On-site)A leading European Infra Fund is seeking an Asset Management Leader to join their team in Madrid.

You will gain oversight of the commercial and technical performance of renewable energy assets in Iberia and manage relationships with key stakeholders.The Role:Follow up the daily performance of the assets – KPI monitoring and asset optimization of solar assets.Carry out regular site visits to ensure that the asset meets the correct quality and technical specifications and ensure their ongoing compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.Review maintenance plans and completion of works to ensure compliance, to the extent required to implement improvements.Assist during the final stage of construction, permitting process, commissioning, Warranty process and operation phase.Oversight contract management – ensuring that all services required by the OM or EPC contracts are actioned accordingly.Support insurance claims (coordinate the processing of the claim, including sourcing of information and documents/supporting information from the Operational Compliance and Data teams).Responsible for negotiation and managing the OM contracts.
Management of the PPA agreements, DNO, public entities, landowners, contractors, subcontractors and any other stakeholders, to ensure compliance with their obligations under the contracts in place.Commercially building and managing relationships with external stakeholders and key counterparties, from EPC contractors and OM contractors to the Owner's Engineer, Debt Providers, PPA Offtakes, Health Safety Advisors, external legal counsel and grid operators.Work with finance team managing processes around bonds, cash retentions, PL, Cash flow, OPEX, etc.Monthly review and reporting to lenders on revenues, costs, EBITDA, etc.Preparing the annual budgets for the assets, assessing energy price forecasts, contingency expenditures based on previous years' costs, etc.The Individual:Degree in Engineering or relevant or transferable degree.3+ years of experience, in an asset management role (commercial management is valued).Good commercial skills in solar and/or wind projects of different sizes and different stages of operational life.Ability to communicate effectively in a clear concise wayClear communication (written and verbal) in the two languages (Spanish and English).In conclusion, be part of an organisation to drive the renewable energy revolution and contribute to a sustainable future.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and interest in the role to Jess Brisley (******) #J-18808-Ljbffr
