Who We're Looking For
Meritt seeks candidates with a proven ability to sell into nonprofit organizations. While SaaS experience is a bonus, it's not required; what matters most is your passion for financial solutions and a desire to empower organizations. This role is perfect for a motivated salesperson who values both revenue growth and community impact.
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of sales experience, preferably with nonprofits
Strong relationship-building skills, especially with decision-makers
An interest in finance and understanding of how financial products add value
A history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Grit, empathy, and a knack for navigating complex sales cycles
A growth mindset and resilient attitude
Familiarity with CRM tools (Hubspot training provided if needed
A Day in the Life
As an Account Executive, you will:
Own the sales cycle from prospecting to close, driving revenue growth
Develop strategies to close deals within the nonprofit sector
Identify customer pain points and address them using a tailored sales methodology
Deliver demos that showcase the fintech solution's unique value
Partner closely with product and engineering teams to communicate customer insights
Close deals while maintaining a customer-first approach
