.About the role.The Global Product Management (GPM) organization is responsible for the business performance of all research products.
The Client Retention Analytics (CRA) team is part of Global Product Management.
CRA performs analysis related to all aspects of Gartner's Research, including client value drivers, research content, research interaction, and the research role in conferences and events.
CRA also supports the Research & Advisory (R&A) organization by enabling analysis and performing analysis centrally ranging from retention deep dives to budget and financial analysis (in partnership with the finance organization) and client demand sensing.We power fact-based decision making by providing data, insights, and analytic tools to continuously improve our business – operationally and strategically.
We are looking for a proven, highly analytical problem solver to be part of our growing team.
This role will be part of a team working on high-priority projects like the development and implementation of IVR (a metric to evaluate the retention impact of all Gartner assets).
You will be involved in establishing effective performance metrics for the R&A organization and acting as the central analytics team across R&A and products.
This role will work with various R&A practices as well as cross-functional partners and stakeholders from Services, Sales, and Products.
This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on in our efforts to define a clear path to even higher retention and revenue levels for Gartner.What you'll do.Develop a robust framework of retention analytics to derive actionable insights for the R&A organization.
Standardize the presentation and communication of complex analyses through automation and senior leadership updates.
Partner with the data science team and other cross-functional teams from sales, service, products, and R&A.
Partner with operations leads on various R&A practices to ensure standardized execution on retention improvement plans.
Stakeholder management & communication: Build deep and lasting relationships with stakeholders across the Research & Advisory organization as well as other functional areas.What you will need.Experience: 0-3 years of experience involving analysis of large volumes of data with strong hands-on experience with analytical tools like advanced Excel.
Familiarity with other technical skills like PowerBI, Python, SQL & Data Science concepts is an added advantage.
Ability to gather, analyze, restructure, identify and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data.Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.
A degree with a concentration in finance, statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or operations research is good-to-have.Exceptional problem solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story to influence senior-level stakeholders
