Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Engineer (Pharma) Hybrid - Barcelona Freelance We are seeking a highly skilled AI & ML Engineer to drive innovation in the pharmaceutical sector through advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions.
You will work on complex, large-scale datasets, building and fine-tuning models to extract insights, automate processes, and enable data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: Design, train, and deploy NLP and LLM models tailored to pharmaceutical applications.
Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs for domain-specific tasks.
Optimize model performance and scalability across large datasets.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into production systems.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data governance standards.
Requirements: Strong background in AI/ML with expertise in NLP and LLM architectures .
Proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch Solid experience with Python Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience working with regulated data environments in pharma or healthcare is a plus.
