This role as Western Europe Sustainability Lead is critical in helping navigate our teams to unlock even more value for our customers, partners, employees, and the local communities across the 12 WE subsidiaries.

ResponsibilitiesThe role focuses on leading the change management strategy for Microsoft Western Europe encompassing culture, sales transformation, and orchestration of the significant opportunity we have with our sustainability aspiration.

Key responsibilities include:Developing an integrated change plan for Western Europe which is closely connected to the work done in the individual countries and addresses culture, people change, and landing plans to drive positive outcomes for Western Europe.Closely connected to the Western Europe Leadership Team, advising, guiding, and coaching on change management strategy and execution.In close partnership with our Corporate Vice President for Sustainability, engage and support marketing and sales teams to have conversations with customers across industries to introduce the Cloud for Sustainability and how its capabilities can enable digital transformation in areas that are aligned with the customer's industry and sustainability workflows and turn opportunities into deals.Initiate conversations with customers on digital transformation in sustainability data and related scenarios, in collaboration with partners and services.
Create guiding examples of sustainability digital transformation through seminars, workshops, webinars, and direct engagement.Identify local initiatives with growth potential and orchestrate the organization to maximize these, working in close partnership with our sustainability champions across the region, our EMEA, and Corporate team.Specific accountability for our WE Sustainability plan, maximizing the assets we have across the organization and leading the strategy.Evangelize Microsoft's transformation story to inspire our Customers, Partners, Employees, and Managers through local events including Manager Forums and Leadership events.Sponsor growth accounts to drive business acceleration.Deliver a world-class seller experience through a single connected opportunity workflow across all steps involved, with visibility into deal progress.Drive the efficacy of sales plays and industry solutions through integrated learning and rhythms, and guided execution.Live our values and deliver great lived experiences for our people, each and every day.Connect with our Employee Resource Groups to drive consistency of message and help us with our journey towards everyone being an ally to All. This role would report into the Western Europe SMO (Sales, Marketing, and Operations) organization, allowing for an aligned approach across all segment teams.

QualificationsRequired/Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of technology-related sales, consulting, or account management experience.Experience in areas related to ESG, energy transition, sustainable energy, climate change, or circular economy in the public sector or in the corporate world.Additional or Preferred Qualifications: ESG, Energy Transition, Climate Change, or Circular economy certifications. Location: As this role covers Western Europe, it is available from different locations.
