After an introduction period in Denmark and other NORMAL Markets, you will first of all be part of the opening of new stores in Spain and the hiring and training of store managers and staff for the stores. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our stores are run in accordance with our NORMAL values and concept, generating the true NORMAL customer experience.
We opened the first stores in Spain November 2023 and we now have 16 Spanish store and many more we come. You will part of the Area Manager team and you will work closely together with the Country Manager and HQ team in Spain as well as your colleagues at HQ in Denmark. We are looking for an outgoing, people-minded, sales-driven decisionmaker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Areas of responsibilities
As an Area Manager, you will be hands-on involved in many different tasks and not two days will be the same.
Your tasks will include:
Acting as a role model living the NORMAL culture and values;Optimizing sales and implementing best practice in your stores and the region;Supporting and coaching your stores, focusing on sales and customer experience;Recruiting, training, developing and coaching store manages within your region;Coordinating and taking action on sales and operations aligned with the management at HQ in Denmark;Overall management of all stores within your region.What is needed to succeed
We expect you to have experience with working as as Area Manager, District Manager or similar in the retail industry. We value a sense of urgency, the ability to get people involved, and work with constant focus on sales as well as people. You must be able to handle various task of varying complexity, always with a smile and a can-do attitude. Travelling should be expected to some degree.
About you You have a strong retail background from the Spanish market and a desire to be hands-on involved in the business;You thrive in creating excellent customer experiences in the stores together with your team;Through good leadership skills, you will work constantly to support your stores and staff;Your management style has a human focus, always focusing on the task at hand;You have a strong and energetic personality;You are good at prioritizing and planning your work;You communicate fluently in Spanish as well as English, in writing and orally.Contact and application

NORMAL is a Danish-owned retail chain. The first store opened in the Danish city of Silkeborg in April 2013, and since then more than 700 stores have opened in Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, France, Finland, Portugal and Spain.
NORMAL sells normal products at abnormal prices. The product range comprises well-known brands within categories such as skin care, oral care, shampoo, makeup and cleaning agents. All products sell at fixed low prices.
But NORMAL is much more than fixed low prices and branded goods. The goal is for the customers to always get a new and unique experience when visiting one of the stores. Therefore, the permanent assortment of well-known branded goods is continuously supplemented by new and exciting items that find their way to the shelves and podiums.
The maze-like store set-up invites customers to go treasure hunting for products from known and unknown brands, and there will always be a new surprise waiting just around the corner.
