What are we looking for Cosentino UK is looking for an Architecture & Designer Sales Manager to grow the Commercial Area of the business, covering the following postcodes: BH, DT, GU (part of), GY (Guernsey), JE (Jersey), PO (inc. Isle of Wight), RH, SO, SP.
The Architecture & Designer Sales Manager is in charge of obtaining design specifications from an existing portfolio of Architects and Specifiers and developing new business with key project accounts in the area.
Candidate should be self-sufficient, resilient with a hunter mentality, and possess a strong work ethic and flexible attitude.
What you will do - Create short- and long-term sales plans to penetrate architectural and design firms, developers, corporate accounts, new property owners, and services providers to gain specifications and sales of work surfaces, flooring, interior cladding, and exterior facades.
- Develop new project opportunities through personal sales efforts and professional relationships with architects, designers, building owners, and property management firms involved with new development or renovation work for existing building interiors and exteriors.
- Promote organization's products in formal presentations to architects, designers, and targeted organizations.
- Execute sales plans created within agreed-upon timelines from the customer or Cosentino Management.
- Maintain accurate relationship, product placement & project details with updated developments within the project management database (Sales Force CRM).
- Manage the sales development of Cosentino surfacing products.
- Maintain a constant awareness of markets and pursue profitable opportunities focused on organizational growth.
- Actively represent and promote Cosentino to the community through hosting and attending local chapter events.
- Manage timely communication across all parties to ensure successful sales implementation of programs including updating sales collateral, product technical data and information, samples, mockups, and proposals.
- Manage own sales budget and maintain discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist with corporate account roll-out programs on a regional basis as needed, which may require travel outside of the assigned geography.
- Commit to continual learning and knowledge of Cosentino Surfacing Products, ensuring proper use and overall customer satisfaction.
- Act as a facilitator and provide recommendations to senior management with key sales information as it relates to markets and regions.
- Coordinate with Cosentino Account Managers, business partners, fabricators, and installation contractors to ensure successful realization of local project execution.
What you need to succeed EXPERIENCE
Must have at least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
SKILLS
- Must be local.
- Ideally with some experience in façades.
EDUCATION
Ideally a bachelor's degree.
