Position Overview: Translator Role at DA Languages Your Role and Responsibilities: In your capacity as a translator with DA Languages, you will be tasked with translating digital documents for our clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines, and performing necessary proofreading. You will also communicate with our booking team for any needed support or to report issues, guaranteeing the readiness of documents for client submission. Applicants must meet the following criteria: Possess the Right to Work in the UK/EU Be fluent in English and Arabic at a C1 level or higher Be prepared to undergo a trial assessment Have a Basic DBS check or equivalent security clearance for the EU residents Have at least 1 year of translation experience, translating a minimum of 100,000 words or completing 100 assignments Hold relevant qualifications in Translation, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field, such as: BA or MA in Translation, CIOL Level 7 Diploma in Translation, DPI Level 4 & 5 in Translation, BA or MA in Languages, Linguistics or any other related discipline related to languages Preferred Qualifications: While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference: Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) Qualifications in Community Interpreting National Registered (NRPSI) Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) Qualifications Certificate in Bilingual Skills (CBS) Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpreting, Languages, Linguistics, or a related field Why Join DA Languages?
